KeymasterThanks to Tom and Pam Jeffers for giving me a different hood latch assembly! My hood is now adjusted so both the primary and secondary latches work!
Battery issue resolved as well. Previous owner really messed some things up, but we’re all good for LaX!
Thanks Tom and Pam!

KeymasterI don’t know what a ‘PM’ is.
Hopefully you will see this message.
Anyway, I need a wiper motor assy for a Series V. I will be at La Crosse. If it doesn’t rain.
Also need the heater hose fitting that threads into the water pump, and the other one that threads into the cylinder head.
My name is David Swanger – please call or text me at 615-428-9267, thanx.Kerch McConlogue
KeymasterWe talked to the Radisson hotel yesterday. They said rooms are being canceled and booked almost on a daily basis for our weekend. So if you need a room try the host hotel first.

KeymasterYou can still call the hotel and see if any rooms have come available. There are two other events booking rooms for that weekend and cancelations will happen. You might get lucky. Other nearby hotels are The Fairfield Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn, Courtyard by Marriot and the Hampton Inn downtown.

KeymasterHello from Nashville Tn.
Your ad is a bit dated but thought I would try anyway. If no response I will try he posted phone number.
Is the car still available? I owned Mk % a few years ago and moved on to a Tiger which I sold last year. Then it was and continues to be classic Thunderbirds but I miss having a little british car. If it is nearby, I could be a cash buyer for clear title and immediate possession. Is the car strong enough for a road trip or would I need to arrange a car transporter.
Where in Ohio can the car be seen? Any recent picture including the underside.

KeymasterMike,
Thank you very much!
That’s the information I was looking for.
Due to my work load, I will try to get this completed prior to going to La Crosse in two weeks. I am sure I will have several questions for you down the road although this seems somewhat simple due to your excellent instructions.
See you in La Crosse?
Thank you.

KeymasterThanks to Tom and Pam, I have a new (used) hood striker to work with. PO had it on upside down and out of adjustment. It was also repaired by brazing and a horrible welding attempt. Tom sent me a used one from an Alpine so we just need to get it installed. Thanks Tom & Pam!
Now the next issue is the positive ground. Yup, that’s right. The PO had the battery grounded via the positive terminal.

KeymasterGerhard,
I have never had to adjust mine but it looks to me that the left to right adjustment is done at the striker on the hood. The bolt holes on the striker are big enough to give some left to right adjustment as well as front to back adjustment. Since your front to back adjustment is correct, you may want to mark the front to back position of the striker with masking tape before you loosen the bolts so you only change the left to right position.
