Treasurer Report
Rob Harter discussed our finance issues and suggests we reduce the $500 donation to the Rootes Archive and how to generate more money.
Membership Report
- We have 587 Members with
- 93 Canadians whose free membership ends 12/31/2019 Gary Corbett expects maybe 60 will continue membership
- we had 34 new members joined last year excluding the Canadians
- 39 members lapsed
Newsletter and Website Report
Discussed Newsletter and Monthly conference call and mailing Rootes Review at bulk rate
The new membership site launched. Kerch discussed the differences with the new one. Regarding visibility of protected content: “All members” and “Everybody” means only members can access the content.
The Forum has been updated to a new format. All content is still available.
United 2020
Jim Lindner proposed the 2020 United be in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Grandover Resort.
A full Banquet facility with plenty of meeting spaces and the Concourse to be held on the lawn area on their property

Suni Update
Suni Survey taken through Survey Monkey got 376 entries from STOA, CAT, SAOCA and TEAE
Suni to be held in 2021. There were
positive results from all the Tiger car clubs to go to the Lake of the
Ozarks in Margaretville, Missouri. This is a lake resort with 700
rooms, Banquet facilities and several restaurants on site. Great meeting
facilities with concours held on their gulf course.
Room rate $150-$200/night, Autocross venue at the Airport 1/2 hour away. The
board agreed to to contribute up to $2000 of seed money. Need a Media person
for this event.

Tom Calvert TACed 7 cars at the Shelby National Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
Jim Lindner reported on the Regional Realignment. Realignment and addition of new regions was approved by the Board. Search for new Regional Reps is on going.
Rootes Review income disparity
About 375 newsletters are sent monthly, raise rates for newsletters next year and see about revenue through advertising.
Joe McConlogue reports a Deficit $5,500 – and suggested Rootes Review advertising rate: Full page $75.00, half page $50.00 and quarter page is $25.00. He will confirm with Hagerty Insurance that this seems reasonable)
TEAE is a 501 (c) 7 exempt entity for Tax Purposes; we already file a 990 form every year.

Name change survey
Results from the Survey Monkey survey in March regarding the club name change: 265 responses, (141 ney, 124 yea) It was decided to leave the name alone at this time.
